Connecting to the Robotech.com (mIRC) Chatroom First,
download and install the mIRC program. If you have not done so already, go
here (http://www.mirc.com/)
Now start the mIRC application...
Close the "About mIRC" window by pressing the X button at the top right
of the box. The "mIRC Options" window will now automatically pop up. It
will look like this...
In the "mIRC Options" window, insert your Full Name, Email Address, desired
Nickname, and Alternative nickname...
You must now connect to the Robotech.com server. Press the "Add"
button that's located at the top right of the "mIRC Options" window...
The "Add Server" window will now pop up. In both the "Description"
and "IRC Server" fields, type in irc.robotech.com...
Now click the "Add" button in the "Add Server" window...
The Robotech.com server is now your default server. To connect to the
server, click the "Connect to IRC Server" button in the center of the "mIRC
Options" window...
You are now connected the Robotech.com server, and can finally join the
Robotech.com Chatroom. The "mIRC Channels Folder" will automatically pop
up after you connect. To join the Robotech.com Chatroom, type in "robotech"
in the field...
Then click the "Join" button...
Congratulations! You are now in the Robotech.com Chatroom! See that wasn't
so hard, was it? ^_^
